We had a wonderful day. Andrew structured the day so well, with short technical talks at the start and during the day on how to use and set our cameras for the best results for different conditions, situations and subjects which were simple enough that we could all understand but also improve our techniques and knowledge. He was incredibly knowledgeable about how each of our different cameras and lenses worked, so we had individual tuition and help as well. His pleasant personality helped the group to gel and gave us flexibility.

Everything about the day ran like clockwork and we were blessed with good weather. Andrew Mason was excellent. I couldn't have wished to have been in safer hands. Everything had obviously been well organized and any issues were clearly resolved. I'm already looking forward to October and spending a day in the Peak District.

The Bradgate Park photography day was really good. Not only was Andrew an excellent leader, knowing all the best places to get the best shops, but he was so patient with us, sorting out a camera problem with gentle humour, and thus allowing us to get even better shots and ensuring we came away at the end of the day with probably one of the best set of photographs I have taken in a long time. But again, many thanks to Andrew and your team for a really super day.

We had the most fabulous day with Andrew, from the beginning when he flashed us with his green torch to the end of the day when we said ‘goodbye’. His patience, kindness, knowledge and perseverance where an absolute treat! The Red Deer we saw, and there were many, were magnificent. Both my Sister in Law, G.H. and I used two memory cards and two camera batteries!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day yesterday, despite the rain! It made some of the photography a challenge, but we saw a lot, & witnessed all sorts of behaviours, so it was all interesting. Andrew showed us all the spots where we would get the best shots at certain times if the day, & angles, etc, encouraging us to re-visit the venue at a later date. We have both been glad to have the opportunity to visit new places on the 2 trips we have done – Bempton in the fog, & Bradgate in the rain!! However it has given us the chance to learn more about taking photos of wildlife, what to look for, & tips on how to get out of the subject. We have also enjoyed the slow pace of the day, as we were able to observe so much, rather than moving on all the time. The focus on 1 or 2 species in a small area gave so much more opportunity to watch the wildlife as well as take photos. These day trips are a great idea, especially in the strange times we are living in at present. Outside, in small groups of like minded people, so making up for all the longer trips we had planned. Learning or honing a skill such as photography has been a bonus. Being a very amateur photographer, usually on automatic settings, I have appreciated the fact that other members of the group are not very skilled with very expensive equipment, which can be off-putting. Thank you for the opportunities you are offering.

Andrew was a brilliant leader and it was very refreshing to be with a photographer who was only concerned that the clients should get the best out of the day, rather than using it as an opportunity to enhance his own portfolio! I have some lovely images to remember the day by, and hopefully I am now able to put this knowledge to use in taking better photos on my own.

Fortunately we were very fortunate with the weather on the day. Andrew had obviously done his homework and chosen photography locations that allowed us to achieve the best possible images. His teaching skills are of a high level combined plenty of patience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The leader/tutor Andrew Mason, was an excellent communicator who amiably shared his passion for photography, nature and the outdoors. He circulated well throughout the group to help and guide without being invasive. I will certainly look out for any future trips that Andrew was leading. Good organisation and information. It has been a bonus developing these "day trips" in these difficult Covid times.

One day photographic experience with Andrew Mason - Excellent day with plenty of instruction, advice and assistance from Andrew. This one day event was my birthday present from my wife. Well organised from beginning to end!

The trip leader Andrew Mason was brilliant. He was very patient with me and by the end of the trip he had converted me into a true Wildlife Photographer with an excellent photo of a mountain hare and various good bird photos. He offered helpful advice to the real photographers in the party on photography settings and equipment. He taught us how to go up the mountain without frightening the hare we wished to photograph. It was excellent and blew away my Covid blues as I had been in solitary isolation. Now I have a new hobby to follow even if there is another shut down. Being taught so much more about photography as I had previously just snapped photos when on Safari or at home. Now I know how to use my little camera properly and have been given advice as to what to purchase if I wish to upgrade my equipment.
